There are tons of year-round benefits of using FlatOut™ QuickStrike™, but there are a few that are particularly handy during the winter months. Everyone has different types of equipment they use during the winter. So if you’re still able to go for a weekend ride or can only break out the snow blower, these FlatOut™ features will still benefit your equipment.
If you install FlatOut™ QuickStrike™ now, you won’t have to do it next winter or for the foreseeable future. FlatOut™ lasts for the life of the tire, so if the tire you’re installing it into is in pretty good shape, you won’t have to worry about it for years or until you get a new tire.
Winter time already comes with seasonal hazards. With ice and snow making roads or trails more dangerous, it’s a good idea to do anything to increase safety. (Cue FlatOut™)
FlatOut™ helps keep your tire properly inflated, and a properly inflated tire is a safer tire.
It’s no secret that our products are a liquid you have to install into the tire, so it’s reasonable to wonder why we recommend FlatOut™ for when temps are dipping below freezing. The base liquid that makes up the FlatOut™ formulas is freeze-resistant down to -31°F (-35°C), making it perfect for almost any climate. (We don’t recommend usage in Antarctica.)
What’s worse than being cold? Having to change a flat tire in the cold. With FlatOut™ QuickStrike™, struggling to make your fingers defrost to get the tire off is a thing of the past. Our Off-Road and On Road formulas seal punctures up to ½’’ and slow leaks. Our Small Tire formula seals punctures up to ¼’’ and slow leaks.
